According to the Pantone Color Institute, 2017 is the year to be green. The organization known as “global color authority” has announced the color of the year 2017, is Greenery, Pantone 15-0343. This fresh an vivacious color is expected to dominate the fashion world, beauty and interior design trends.
Not surprisingly, this tangy yellow-green is reminiscent of fresh foliage and the various green hues throughout nature, evoking certain shades of grass and trees. Although lighter and brighter, Greenery reminds one to take a deep breath, oxygenate and reinvigorate.

Pantone puts it as “Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. From the spring 2017 runways specifically, designers like Balenciaga, Pucci, Sies Marjan, Michael Kors, Kenzo and Zac Posen created clothes in what Pantone calls the nature’s neutral.
Last year, Rose Quartz and Serenity soft and pale hues, encouraged to calm and well-being, this earthy hue symbolizes energy and new beginnings.
