10/05/2019 Best Design Events – Time for Feria del Mueble Yecla 2019 ⇒ This is one of the most important design events of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and it’s the best opportunity to immerse yourself in the interior design and furniture field. Don’t need to be a professional to truly appreciate the best two things Yecla is known for all over the world: furniture and wine. Also, the region has entered UNESCO’s World Heritage List with its late prehistoric rock-art sites of the Mediterranean basin on the Iberian Peninsula, the largest group anywhere in Europe. So, there is plenty to look forward to!

From the 7th to the 10th of May the Spanish city of Yecla is going to host the 58th edition of this Design Event. The city of Yecla is currently in an important industrial centre, which focuses its activity on the sector of wood and furniture. There are almost 500 companies dedicated to the manufacture of furniture and upholstery, and auxiliary and related furniture, upholstery and wood. In each new Furniture Fair, exhibitors and professionals have been backed by the Regional and Local Authorities, therefore contributing to the consolidation of this municipality as a key industrial area with great relevance in the Autonomous Community of Murcia.
One of the novelties of this year is that the stand of the Institute of Development will be for the duration of the entire Fair from May 7 to 10, while in previous years only two days were installed. This extension is facilitated by the fact that there are 30 foreign companies that will visit the stand of companies in the Region of Murcia. So that importers and/or prescribers have the opportunity to comfortably visit the stands of the companies of the Region of Murcia, the assistance of the markets will be divided into two groups. In addition, two technical seminars will be organized, which can be attended by all those who wish it free of charge and without the need for prior registration.
Another of Yecla’s strengths is that those who visit it between May 7 and 10 will have the opportunity to enter the only furniture cluster in Spain.
