Like all the best magazines, Elle Decor chooses the best interior designers every year. They celebrate them and welcome new members to their distinguished company. In the past weeks, I’ve been talking about the chosen ones, and this week the Elle Decor A-List 2017 Best Interior Designers is Sheila Bridges.
Sheila is from Philadelphia Pennsylvania, she founded her company in 1994, and her passion for interiors inspired her to design furniture and home furnishings in 1996.
It’s not the first time Sheila get her talent recognized, she already was named “America’s Best Interior Designer” by CNN and Time Magazine, Architectural Digest, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Interior Design, House & Garden, Domino, and Traditional Home magazines.
This Manhattan residence has been featured on the cover of Elle, In this house color and bold art pieces are the stars, the rooms in this house represents the spirit and statement decor so well known to Sheila.
This urban country cottage, located in New York’s Hudson River Valley. Once again, all the rooms are filled with original and statement furniture, the mix of colors is perfection, giving the house a light fun yet classic twist.
This amazing Penthouse apartment has an amazing view of Manhattan including the Empire State building. With calmer colors and clean lines, Sheila didn’t loose her fun and original side, from the rugs to the pieces of art and finally to that amazing tree in the ceiling.
She is definitely the best choice if you’re looking for unique and over the top rooms.
