Preciosa Lighting has been cultivating chandeliers since 1724. Today, they bring together heritage, extensive experience, technical ingenuity and contemporary vision to create stunning light pieces for an everyday living. They are passionate not only about the soul and beauty of light-making, but also about sharing it with the world. Let’s see three of the amazing new light pieces that were presented by Preciosa at Maison et Objet.
GEMMA – Designer Daniel Szöllösi brings together beautiful yet practical elements into a harmonious whole. A column of detailed cut crystal resonates from within Gemma, illuminating the space with a gentle light. Strong light shines from below making it an artistic addition to many functional spaces. Gemma’s materials of stainless steel and glass casing embody modern sophistication.
SIREN – This vivid yet mysterious lamp will bring intrigue to your space with its playful inversion of the classic bell shape. The three glass bells are layered to hide and reveal and an enchanting combination of colours and textures adds to the light’s interest. Different illumination options mean there are always new aspects and reflections to discover.
GEOMETRIC – The clear crisp lines of Geometric are made through two types of glass cutting combined with three surface finishes. The result is a striking simplicity which offers a warm intimate glow. This piece, by designer Ekaterina Elizarova, works well as a stand-alone element, but the purity of its geometry means that a collection also offers a compelling statement of form and elegance.
