Far are the days when you would get inspired through styled spreads in glossy magazines. In recent years, Instagram took the reign when it comes to interior design inspiration and now the top interior designer to follow are on Instagram.
Here are some of Room Decor Ideas favorite designers feeds from which we pull daily inspiration on Instagram.
Hommemaker Founder Orlando Soria is an interior designer, writer, and visual artist who lives in Los Angeles, California where serves as the Premier Designer for Homepolish. He has been a staple of the design industry for years. His Feed is half personal (and very funny) diary and half interior design magazine.
Studio McGee was created by husband and wife team, Syd and Shea McGee in a spare bedroom with lots of big ideas, their team’s work has garnered attention in the design world from Architectural Digest, Vogue Living, House Beautiful, Domino, and Better Homes & Gardens to name a few. Their style is represented by a lean palette mixed with interesting patterns and a tailored aesthetic.
Sarah Bartholomew’s signature design aesthetic can be described as a fresh take on classical design. Sarah’s designs balance beauty and function, layer color and pattern, embody elegance and practicality and are timelessly sophisticated. Born and raised in Virginia, was highly influenced by Thomas Jefferson
Kelly Behum is an interior design firm based in New York City that specializes in the design of interiors, furniture, and decorative accessories. Founded by Kelly Behun, the Studio provides a uniquely hands-on approach producing customized environments perfectly tailored to each client’s needs. Her Instagram is a coterie of modern design inspiration filled with gorgeous, futuristic images.
Again a team of Husband and wife, Benjamin and Gen Sohr, live a creative life in Nashville, Tennessee and after nearly 20 years of bringing large scale retail concepts to life for Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Oiliy, The Body Shop, and Victoria’s Secret and having lived in San Francisco, New York, and Chicago- the duo set their sights on bringing a more modern sensibility to Benjamin’s hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. Their kitschy, color-filled, gorgeously edited account is picture perfect, but never contrived; credit that Southern hospitality.
Dabito the Founder & Creative Director of Old Brand New, he was born in the heart of Chinatown, Los Angeles, majored in Fine Arts, he worked at a litho printing company in the Arts District, After that, he worked for April Greiman at Made In Space, a graphic design consultancy and around that time he started blogging about his thrifty adventures and Old Brand New was born.
