07/11/2019 A Luxury Residential Project by ZZ Architects ⇒ This is a unique sea-facing luxury apartment that is something out of the ordinary both in terms of layout and then ultimately finishes. The designers incorporated some large oversize windows with minimum frames to make sure that the view is not obstructed by vertical members of the window frame. ZZ Architects is regarded as one of India’s leading architecture and interior design studios. Established in Mumbai by Architects Krupa Zubin and Zubin Zainuddin, they provide extremely high end and bespoke professional architectural and interior design services.
Free-flowing spaces and exploration of curved and sinuous forms create a new dimension for this luxury apartment design by ZZ Architects. The low ceiling heights and structural beams were to be camouflaged so as to make space feel seamless. The architectural firm focuses on designing an extremely high end and large scale innovative and contemporary luxurious homes. These are bespoke and tailored to the tastes and needs of their clients, that’s why Covet House customizable pieces were carefully selected for the project.

Shop the Look
The bespoke living room designed by ZZ Architects as a result of the mixture of textures, colours, fabrics and even styles. The geometric shapes present in the walls, the harsh lines of the upholstery’s outline, the somewhat art deco inspired design in the floors, mix together with flowy shapes of the centre table and floor lamps, creating an almost ethereal aesthetic for the living room. Perfectly combined with the customized marble and glass colibiri pattern that works as a rug, the Eden Center Table by Boca do Lobo presents a part of the tree of knowledge and the tale of the birth of desire.

The challenge for ZZ Architects was to make this apartment feel more intimate. Although the overall layout was a typical grid formed apartment layout there was a deliberate attempt to create something out of the ordinary both in terms of layout and then ultimately finishes, producing an eccentric design project. The dining windows have been redesigned to enjoy the seamless glazing overlooking the view. Reflective surfaces on the ceiling and the brass Fortuna Dining Table, also from Boca do Lobo, serve as an interesting backdrop for a bespoke chandelier which orients the eyes in the direction of the view.

Perfectly matching the ethereal aesthetics of the dining room, ZZ Architects placed the Newton Freestanding from Maison Valentina, which is an organic shaped freestanding made out of casted aluminium spheres that merge to create a tabletop, providing a unique design approach to this decor piece. It is a true piece of art that complements the shine and opulence of all the room.
In the shape of an open capsule, ZZ Architects has peripheral curved counters and a mat glass island is standing central in the kitchen decor. The finishes are in tones of white with a striped marble floor adding a visual context. With state of the art gadgets having their designated zones, it serves as an elevating workspace.

Last but definitely not the least, the grandiose master bedroom, the view has been strategically considered while creating a luxurious master bedroom. ZZ Architects placed the main master bed as the centre stage and is aligned perfectly to reveal a stunning view of the sea and the skyline across.
