In this contemporary small apartment, a custom bedroom design box was incorporated as a renovation projet. As you can see, the design idea behind this renovation project presented a completely new bedroom design in intricate detail that serves as a unique way to bring style, simpleness and storage into a small contemporary modern home.

The contemporary apartment located in Paris, France, was completely revamped by the French interior design firm Batiik Studio. What was previously a run-down apartment on the outskirts of Central Paris was transformed into a loft type of home that could easily be located on some of the most luxury neighborhoods of the City of Lights.

Some of the features of the old apartment were kept intact, such as the walls that were kept in most of their original state. Batiik Studio created a box piece that houses the bed and provides much-needed storage.

As you can see, the design project supports neutral colours that provide what the room needs. The black provides intimacy while the beige colour provides the warmth. A patterned bed covering adds a bit of style to the minimalist decor.

But what really stands out is the box custom piece that serves as a bed, as a storage, and as a lighting fixture. Instead of having a small lofted bed without much headroom, the Batiik Studio created this unique piece that as a bed on the interior and, on the exterior, it’s composed by a number of closets, cabinets and drawers that create plenty of storage for this tiny apartment.
